| Seminar with Ido Pariente in Brasov On June 15-16, 2011 Ido Pariente, “The Hebrew hammer”, a black belt under Patrick Bittan came to Romania, Brasov for a two days seminar. There were two days packed with a lot of techniques, mostly advanced and the ones that are now used in most of the tournaments. First day, there were about 30 enthusiastic students of Bittan academy Romania. We trained with gi, and after a brief warm-up, we started with some drills for passing the guard from standing position. We went on with some more techniques for passing the guard from standing position and learned some submissions on the way. We finished with the usual sparring. We had a great training day. The next day we trained with no gi mostly MMA drills and strategy on how to take down your opponent. Ido shared with us some of the things that he learned while he was in The Ultimate Fighter show. We learned a very interesting rubber guard which can be used in grappling as well as in MMA, and finished with a few rounds of sparring. Two guys from BA Roumania get testing by Ido and promote Blue Belt (chirita dragos et ciolan catalin) For Ido Pariente this was the fourth time in Romania which he said he enjoied very much. Thanks to him and Patrick Bittan who come to Romania at least once a year, Bittan academy grows a lot, and we hope that the next year we will be in the European championship of bjj and get all the gold medals that we can. Thank you Ido and Patrick. Tudor Moga (Bittan Academy Chef Instructor Roumania) |
